From the primary monument sign to directional and parking signage, each element was designed to support both everyday traffic flow and critical emergency wayfinding.

Approach
For Abbeville Area Medical Center, the goal was to create a clear, cohesive signage system that supports both daily traffic flow and critical emergency navigation.
We began by reviewing site conditions and identifying key decision points across the campus—entry drives, intersections, parking areas, and building access points. From there, we developed a signage plan that prioritizes visibility, simplicity, and consistency.
Color coding and hierarchy played a major role in the system. Emergency routes were emphasized with high-contrast red panels for immediate recognition, while general wayfinding and parking signage utilized a clean blue-and-white palette aligned with the facility’s branding.
Durability and long-term performance were also key considerations. All signage was fabricated using materials and finishes suited for exterior healthcare environments, ensuring resistance to weather, fading, and daily wear.
Throughout the process, our team coordinated closely to ensure proper placement, clean installation, and alignment with site conditions—delivering a turnkey signage package that performs in the field and integrates seamlessly with the facility.
